I just made a cake, strawberry filling, buttercream, covered in fondant. Can I put the cake in the fridge? I heard you can't put fondant in the fridge, so checking with the pros at CC. Thanks

Most people say no. Satin Ice says that their fondant can go in the fridge. If it does go in the fridge, when you take it out, the condensation is what will hurt fondant. Some people will place the cake in front of of table fan as it comes back to room temperature. The fan dries any condensation from the fridge before it can make the fondant go slimy.

It won't. How long do you plan on leaving it out?
