Hi Guys,

I used a waxed cake circle for the first time last night. I made a 6 inch round cake for a co workers nephew. Well, I put some BC on the cake circle and put the cake on it and iced it as I normally would. Well, when I pulled out my bench scraper, I noticed the cake moving around on the board. Anyway, I smoothed it and decorated the cake. This morning, on my way to work the cake slide off the cake circle and the back of it got smashed against the box. I was so disgusted. I knocked off 6.00 of the cake. She still liked it and happily paid for it.

I will not be using the waxed circles again. This goes to show, stick with what works for you. Any of you use wax cake circles?

Hmmmm.I have never had that problem but I could see how it could happen...I find the wax peels off the board if you accidently scrape it.Yuck...
