This is my first wedding cake and I am very nervous! She wants all buttercream which is fine, but the scrolls I am not sure how I need to do those. Should I use RI? I have already pruchased my dust. Please help!!!

Those scrolls were done with fondant or gumpaste.

If I were doing them, I'd draw it out and make the pieces to dry ahead of time. That way you could paint them before they got on the cake, which would be a lot cleaner too.

I agree with Texas Rose! Those are definitely fondant or gumpaste scrolls. I would also roll them out, let them dry, and then paint them before putting them on the cake. You don't want your cake to get messy.

Don't forget to post a pic!
