I am going to buy some cake dummies for practice. which would you recommend, the curved edge or straight edge dummies? it's for fondant work? TIA icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

I have only used the straight edge dummy cakes. I think it might be easier to lay fondant on the beveled edge dummy though. Until I figured it out by trial and error, the straight edges of the dummy would tear the fondant. Just my thoughts though.

cylstrial...... I was thinking the same thing. So I think I'll go with curved this time. Thanks thumbs_up.gif
