CAN YOU PAINT GUMPASTE USING THE WILTON ICING??OR DO U HAVE TO FOOD DYE THE WHOLE THING??

Trying to understand your question a little more. Are you wanting to paint details onto gumpaste. If so I use airbrush food coloring and an artist brush, just like water colors. I have tried to use Wilton gel straight from the bottle but it never dries, and it is to dark to me. The airbrush coloring gives me a more natural look.

it depends what look you want, becuase the two are very different.
you can put gel colours right into the gumpaste.
or, water down the colour with some alcohol, and paint with it.
