When you cover a cake board w/ fondant, is there any issue with getting impressions or fingerprints on it when carrying it? Or is it hard enough at that point that nothing can be pressed onto it?

I cover mine at least a day or two before I stack the cake so it is thoroughly dry by the time it's being carried around.

It hardens after a day or two.

I like to make impressions in them with stamps...rubber stamps aren't food safe but I sometimes use them on my boards (because no one's going to eat the board icon_razz.gif). Textures look really nice on cake boards too.
