I m sure there r a 1001 post about being licensed in Ohio or posts that say check the agriculture? wesites BUT I absolutley do not understand the legal mumble jumble on that website lol! I m not starting a cake business i am looking to start a business making chocolates, suckers, & candies etc. Does anyone know if I have to follow the same rules for cake business and if so what r the guidelines for Ohio? If anyone can help THANKS in advance!! I really want to do this but dont have a clue on whats legal & whats not?! thnks again..gizzmo

I teach an online course for home-based bakers and keep you with the laws surrounding which states have cottage laws. You may also PM me if you have specific questions and I can provide you with additional information. You are not allowed to bake from home in all parts of Ohio.
