I was hoping for some suggestions as to which extract/flavor to add to make buttercream taste better.

I don't have time to make my own icing so I bought a tub of Sam's buttercream. It doesn't taste bad, but it's not great either. I was wanting to add some extracts to "match/compliment" the cakes it's going on.

White cake with strawberry and Pineapple filling
Lemon cake with bavarian filling
Chocolate cake with Nutella filling

All will be covered with Satin Ice fondant.
Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

What I have found to help it is to add a stick or two of butter, and some vanilla or almond. Whatever flavor it is that you are looking for. I did add some seedless strawbrry jam, butter and vanilla, and mixed it up well...taste close to what I make from scratch with butter and PS.

I had questions when I bought the thing of icing from Sam's, and they were answered, but you also have to try your own thing to make sure it taste the way you like it to taste.

Thanks. The seedless strawberry jam sounds good. I'll see what happens.
