Hi, I am doing a oscars "A Star is born" baby shower cake. And in place of the oscar I was going to do a chocolate mold of a pregnant woman and paint gold. Can I do that and if so how.
Thank you so much!

Use gold luster dust and mix with either lemon extract OR alcohol. It should be a "paint" consistency. Then just paint on the mold.

GOOD LUCK!

easier to paint in the mold and then pour in the candy melts...I think that's what you were looking for??

paint gold in mold, set in freezer for 5ish minutes then pull it out and pour candy melts (chocolate) on top and back in freezer for 10ish minutes and pop it out. HTH!
