Hi. I bake cupcakes a lot and although they taste great, I noticed that they are a littele gummy on top. They are cooked but I think I need some advise. Do I need to maybe cook them longer or is it something else?
Also, I use the Wilton cupcake liners and it seems the greasy stuff just goes through them. Is there a way to precent that?

What recipe are you using for your cupcakes?

The WASC cake recipes usually result in a cake that has a sticky surface (which I just level off). But as you experienced, the cake is otherwise throughly baked.

Sorry I don't have any experience with the Wilton cupcake liners.

You can order grease-proof cupcake liners on the internet. They are going to be more expensive - but will stop the grease from coming through the liner.

Good luck!
