I have a wedding cake to do that requires dark chocolate icing. I've made the icing and it doesn't seem to be dark enough!!! Does it dry darker then it looks in the bowl?

Do you have saran wrap pressed into the frosting? If so, it will definitely dry darker.
But if you're not sure - you could always add a little bit of brown gel paste to the frosting.
