Hey everyone! Ok so I have been doing my research in my county (Suffolk County, NY) and I am not allowed a home bakery (even though my uncle is the health inspector lol). So here are my questions...

1. I saw in another post someone saying they were buying some sort of extra space not an addition to their home? (sorry I cant find the post again!)
2. What equiptment would I need to have a bakery?
3. Where would be the best places to buy those items for the most economical prices?

Thats it for now... if i think of more I'll post again! TIA!!!!!

I believe the post you're remembering referenced a foreclosed property. Just make sure the zoning works if you go that route.

Used equipment if fine for most things. If it's a particularly complicated appliance, you might want new just for the warranty. Their are restaurant equipment brokers in nearly every city of any size. There are also auctions, as restaurants go out of biz all the time. And then there's Ebay.
