hello, one of my favorite fillings is a reeses PB ganache. I just chop up 23 oz mini reeses PB cups and pour on 2 cups plus 1 Tbsp just to boil cream, let it sit, then stir.....all of the PB will not be dissolved, but that's the beauty. when it's cool, whip and what you have is pure yumminess. You can also make it into a buttercream if you want.

So how would you recomend turning the filling into reeses flavor in a yellow cake?

Umm..are you pouring in already made ganache (the 2 cups and tbsp) on top of the pb cups? Sorry, the brain isn't functioning that well today.
