Has anyone ever used a Baking Ring? What is it used for and can it be used inside a larger pan in order to make a smaller cake?

Thx.

I fyou are referring to cake rings, they can be used for a number of things. They can be used to bake a cake (usually you would place the ring on top of a flat, parchment lined sheet pan, but I suppose you could place it in a larger pan, though I never have). You can also use them to assemble cakes and molded desserts (mousse, bavarian creme, ice cream cakes, etc). You can even frost and build the cake right in the ring for perfectly smooth frosting with very little effort.

I would love to see you post a demo or video of how to do this. (hint hint!)
