Chocolate Pudding Alternative?

I'm making a cake for my mother. She wanted Chocolate pudding, but she can't refrigerate it since it's a beach party. There is shade, but the weather for Sat is 86F. Any ideas for an alternative filling that can withstand a 6hrs out of the fridge? It's a 1/4 sheet cake with no stacking.

I recently done a cake with chocolate bavarian creme that you buy in the sleave. although, I wonder if the shelf-stable chocolate pudding would work? hth icon_smile.gif

Shelf stable pudding is only stable until open. (Are we talking about the little cups?) Then it must be refrigerated. The sleeve filling would be perfect. icon_smile.gif
