Hi all! This is probally really wishful thinking....but does anyone know if there's such a thing as being able to buy pre-covered white cake dummies? I absolutely loathe covering fake cakes with buttercream or fondant. Any ideas/help would be appreciated! Thanks! icon_biggrin.gif

Oh I wish, you don't know how bad!! Maybe a service that deals in faux cakes exclusively might have something to offer. There is a person here that does that. Dang it, I wish I could remember her name. Someone like that would probably be your best bet.

If you can think of the name eventually, it would be great to know!!! icon_biggrin.gif

What about a material that is similar to fondant, but not edible? My dummies attract bugs like crazy until they dry out. I'm open to suggestions that look like fondant. I've done spackle....but it was more time consuming than I preferred.

As a matter of fact, please let me know if something works out somewhere, as I would be interested in purchasing some. icon_smile.gif
