Khalstead,
In the summer of 1962, when I was a kid, our car broke down in Conneaut, Ohio, on our way home from visiting friends in Chicago. Our car croaked, and we were stranded overnight. The car couldn't be fixed, so the mechanic took us to a car dealership. The car salesman was so nice. He even took our family home to his house and his wife made dinner for us! The next day, he sold my father a brand spanking new 1963 MINT GREEN Rambler American station wagon , and we continued on our way home to New York.
I have fond memories of Conneaut, Ohio!
I see a potential cake in everything I see...
Once you "see a cake" in ordinary objects, you won't be able to stop!!!!

I'm hoping someone will discover a cure soon.
Maybe we could have a fundraiser to donate money for the cause...how a about a bakesale...we could do cake truffles of bloodshot eyeballs depicting cakers who routinely stay up all night... ![]()

That is so crazy!!!!!!!!! It still has that really small town feeling even today!
I've had to move my cake picture albums but I have a lot of wedding cakes designed off the lace on the bride's dress. Check them out in the Courture Cake album at : http://www.flickr.com/photos/sewsweet2/sets
