whaty is best for a 3d mold gumpaste or fondant ?

Waht is the best way to do it ?

I want to make a figure for a cake , it is a 3 d man mold it had the legs arms and torso.

any suggesions?

Well, depending on the size of the mold I would probably do 50/50. I would think fondant would be too soft and gumpaste might crack easily.
