The metal pipe armatures I see, all seem to be covered in RKT or fondant not intended to be eaten.

Doug you're going to have a fairly large fan base soon icon_biggrin.gif

Just a note on if PVC has a 'coating'. Hubby-to-be and I own some buildings that we renovate, everything from plumbing to wiring (and dry wall, and plaster, and painting, lol).

When you're installing the PVC you actually have to sand it down a bit so that it'll adhere better to the adjoining piece, and yes it's the exact same material throughout.

Now I just have to wait for hubby-to-be to get home so I can show him JamieAnn's rack. hahahaha

Sharon had contacted me through CC and wanted one so I sold one to her then She posted it on her blog and I have sold quite a few through that but that's the only place I have sold them.

I thought about putting them on ebay, But I am too Lazy. icon_smile.gif I would rather be baking than making racks.

yes...although it may be steel, it's purity is suspect. I'd cover it up too.
