On the yearbook/style thing: there is fashion and there is style. The times when I see photos of me really fashionable I laugh. But when I see photos of me with style I think I look good. There's a hint of the decade there but for the most part style never goes out of fashion and thankfully I don't follow fashion too often!

I've seen wedding pics from 1960s that the people looked gorgeous and the style wasn't laughable. You could see it was different but it wasn't overdone and therefore still looks good 40-50 years later. I plan to keep this in mind if I ever get married

I had a maid of honor completely trassh a custom cake. When the bride arrived she was ecstatic and said it was just what she wanted..go figure

I looked at your protfolio and I thought your work was lovely. Sorry you had such a bad experience. Stories like that scare me away from wanting to make wedding cakes!!!!
