Ok, so I am in a huge bind right now. I am leaving to take the Wilton Master Course and a few other courses on Aug 23 and returning on Sept. 5. I just found out that a dear friend of mine is leaving on Aug 30 and I was asked to make a cake for them.

Is it ok, and can it be done, to decorate a cake and freeze it for a week? Or it it going to be really bad tasting?

Short term freezing won't harm the cake. icon_smile.gif

Here's another thread asking that same question:

Check out blakescakes' very comprehensive response.
