Last night I made my first 2 tier fondant cake!! I had such a hard time getting the fondant not to ripple on the round cake!! The you-tubers make it look so easy icon_sad.gif I ended up having to cut a seam and piece it together. It looked ok, not great but the lady I made it for loved it...THANK GOODNES!! LOL!! Does anyone have any tips or tricks for this. I don't know if I had too much fondant to work with or if I'm just doing it wrong. PLEASE HELP!! Any suggestions are appreciated!!

I suggest you elevate your cake on top of something small and then cover with fondant. It was easier in my experience.
