use fondant on a carrot cake. I am making a wedding cake which is a carrot cake, because of the heat I would prefer not to use cream cheese or buttercream. Any advise on this is much appreciated.. Thanks in advance icon_smile.gif

Of course you can use carrot cake under fondant. Not sure what is good with it other than cream cheese or buttercream--maybe whipped white chocolate ganache?

Ok, thanks for the replies. I will use the fondant with buttercream underneath then. Wish I had seen the cream cheese MMf before I started making the fondant.
Here in Jamaica cream cheese is not a must with carrot cake. I love it that way though icon_smile.gif
