I really like this cake but have a couple of questions.
I had a couple of people comment about not getting the ginger taste so I am thinking of upping the powdered ginger in the recipe. Has anyone done this? What was your result?
Also, the candied ginger is only available at a specialty store here and it is expensive. What about omitting that if I up the powdered ginger?
