Hi, if I were to use two separator plates for pillar construction. Can I attach the first separator plate on top of the cake and then cover the cake with fondant so that I cover up the plate? Has anyone done that? I am doing simple decoration on top of the cake so I don't want to cover up the plate with decoration. Thank you, you are all so helpful and full of expertise!
