Just wanted to share with someone who would care (LOL), my accomplishments this week. I worked 26 hrs. on night shift at my "real job" as a rn, and done 8 cakes! And finished them all prior to Sat., (well I consider 3am Sat. morn. to still be Fri. night, LOL)! I really thought I had overextended myself, but I pulled it off and I'm so pround! Just thought I'd share with my CC friends. They're the last 8 cakes in my pics! Thanks for letting me share!
Thanks! My hubby can't appreciate my accomplishment quite like you guys can! I think it's something to do with testosterone...
Great job on them all. Now it is time for you to sit back, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee!
All I can say is WOW! It takes me an entire week to pull off just one or 2 cakes so I DEFINITELY appreciate what you achieved!
You must be super organized to pull that off while working at your other job, etc. and have your cakes turn out as well as they did. Congratulations!
Wow! Those 8 cakes were not simple either! That's a ton. I couldn't do that and I'm just a SAHM.
You get a big, serious "YOU GO GIRL!!!" They came out great and I'm just as amazed at your time management skills as I am with your decorating skills.
Very impressive!!! You must have been running on fumes towards the end there..? Please tell me you don't do this many cakes every week?!
Usually just 3-5, but the week before last, I had 6 (7 counting the smash cake i made with one of the lg. 1st b-day cakes). I thought that I wouldn't be able to do it then! Then my stupid self agreed to do 6 again this week, and to work 2 13 hr. nights. After that my hubby wanted one to take to a going away party at wk., and while I was working on the existing orders, someone called wanting a small 8". At that point I figured I was knee deep in cake anyway, so what the heck! I never start the week with 8 on the schedule, I just can't seem to say no. I'm learning to though, b/c 3 more ppl called thursday, and I had sense enough to know that any more would be impossible!!
