Can anyone tell me where I can find a great business card program (that is free) on the web ? I would like to start planing out the design and logo ... but can't seem to find a good program with unique , original ( or create your own ) backgrounds and cliparts .
Thanks
Julie

I also get mine at Vistaprint... I found that the little they charge (you can usually get 500 cards for $1.99 plus shipping total around $10) Is cheaper than having to buy the card stock and ink to print at home.
Here are mine I got a huge order of Cards , magnets and postcards for around $25 shipped. Great Deal!!
Note to Canadians: for us it's Vistaprint.CA
I've used them for all kinds of marketing materials and find them great!
The company that I used to work for also used Vista. They have lots of great products that you can put your company logo on. AND they are always having some kind of major deal.
I went on etsy.com and fond a cute template for 5.00
Then I went to www.nextdayflyers.com and ordered my cards. You can order as little as 100-a bazillion.
I got 1000 for 15.99 uv coated full color front and back plus shipping.

That's cool! I have never ven heard of nextdayflyers. Thanks!
And there is a cute food template on etsy?? Is there more than one? LOL. Cause otherwise all the cakers out there are going to have the same one. It sounds like it's worth checking out though. Thanks again.
my local sam's club sells blank business card stock to make 1,000 business cards for less than $6, tax included.
put that together with MS Publisher (1st choice) or MS Word (2nd choice) and you can make totally customized cards. Templates are already built in to both programs.
can do a run of cards as small as 10 (the number per one sheet) or as large as you have patience to feed the printer.
can make a sheet with 10 different designs on one sheet. (very handy for me - I make my journalism students personalized business cards in batches of 10 for them to use when they go out to sell ads for the paper and yearbook)
can even make all kinds of other things with those cards like:
tickets for give aways, etc (I've done this for years for the plays I direct)
little order forms
hall passes (what my journalism students use to pass out the paper)
limited only by imagination, and the available fonts and clip art at your disposal.
