I live in Ohio and just received a request for a sheet cake with a couple names and a border for 40 people. I have an 11x15 pan (1/2 sheet). My question is this how much cake and how much to charge. I guess it all depends on if I need (2) 1/2 sheets. Tried calling walmart bakery/giant eagle bakery but they are closed.

Please help!!!

Hi,

Sorry I can't help you with how much to charge as I don't know the going rate in Ohio but I have attached a couple of links showing you the number of servings you would get with an 11X15 pan depending on if you use party size or wedding size servings as a guide.

I think the LOWEST anyone would tell you to go would be $2.00 a slice.

although you dont have any pics i woud imagine your cakes are tastier and better looking than walmarts. so caling them for a price comparision is a waste of time.
check with local bakeries that do the same kind of work as you, with a tasty, home made, fresh product.
xx
