Does Cream Cheese Frosting Crust?

I will be making cream cheese frosting and need it to crust. Will cream cheese frosting crust or do I need to refigerate it to crust. I know it has to be refrigerateed anyway.

Mine crusts and I don't refrigerate it. I don't keep it around as long as my regular icing (usually make just enough for the cake), but I ice the cake on Friday and deliver it on saturday.

Twice I had problems with melting icing and it was cream cheese icing that I refrigerated after I iced the cake, so never again does it go in the 'frig.

This is the recipe I've used for the last few years, I found it here on CC and LOVE it.

It crusts well and you can pipe and thicken it a little more and even do roses, in my gallery is a small round cake that says congratulations on it those roses and borders and icing was this recipe, enjoy!!!!
