I bought grass tip #233. Is there any technique how to pipe it, or is it easy just pipe and pull? Would that work with crusting cream cheese recipe (Edna's) stiff consistency? Thank you. Never done this before.

hi Z,

it's me again, cupcakelady64! Grass is very easy. Just put it down and then lift. If you want longer, then pull away slower. Short grass, faster. You can use that tip for hair too!

I've never used that particular icing...but I have done grass with the grass tip..You definitely need a stiff icing. you're right...Pipe and pull and quickly release pressure on the pastry bag to stop flow...Pull away quickly so that the icing stands up...
