I want to buy this rolling pin..but I was wondering if is a good one, because the sides come off for cleaning.

I was wondering if its strong to put preasure on when you are rolling fondant?

Please if you have one please let me know if you like it.

I don't have that one and haven't taken a good look at it at a store...but when I googled it, it seems to be about $25.

This is what I have http://www.fiestaproducts.com/sil-pin-traditional-alloy.html It's only a few dollars more and it has a silicone rolling surface and ball bearings inside to make it super smooth and easy to roll with. I got mine at Ross for $27 but I've never seen another one there...I was looking online just now and saw it at Ace Hardware for $29.

Texas_ROse, that's a nice one

I figure since i have a 50% off coupon i would buy it..but the fact that the sides come off, I was not sure if its strong enought for rolling fondant since you have to put so much pressure on that area.

I have a rolling pin that when I put pressure on it, it feels as if it's going to break..so I wanted to replace it.

Thanks!
