Okay. I had gotten the cricut recently (the middle level one) and I think I might like to try it for gumpaste. I know I can use the mat and I have to remove the sticky stuff. How do I do that?
I also have read a lot about SCAL - is it easy to use or am I going to have to spend a lot of time learning a new program? I am rather computer literate.
I am trying not to get TOO excited since I know people have had a lot of mixed results. But I will keep my fingers crossed.

I have just purchased a cricut cake. I buy my cartridges from cricutmachine.com. They are always having sales. Right now, some of the cartridges are priced at $17.95. I am a novice, but love making cakes for my family. I'll try to post the first cake that I made with the cricut cake. The party was at River City Gymnastics so I tried to make a gymnastic themed cake.
