This may be a silly question but I made cakes for dh birthday - vanilla/caramel dr. cake mix and it uses the vanilla caramel coffeemate in the recipe. Does coffeemate have a coffee flavor to it? He hates coffee...I tried the cake and it was good but can't decide if it has some coffee flavor to it because I love coffee icon_redface.gif

i've never noticed a coffee flavor. it's only called coffemate b/c it is usually used in coffee. it may have a "milky" flavor to it, but not a coffee flavor

Have no worries, coffeemate doesn't taste like coffee. That is why I love it! icon_smile.gif I think the only reason why I am addicted to coffee is my creamer. I wouldn't drink it unless I have something to mask the taste. icon_lol.gif

Thanks! I agree, coffee without flavored creamer is just not worth drinking! My fav is the hazelnut...ymmm, going to get some right now.
