Ok, dont know if this has been posted, if yes, sorry...I have an order not due for 2mos...photo image on a choc. cake....Questions, first Ive never done an image...my first one was the tiny Heinken on my beer mug cake, and I didnt print it. A friend did it for me even though I have the inks and printer to do it but not set up. Scared I wont know how to size it, and dont have the room this minute.

So if I do an image, on Choc. icing, wont everyone be able to see the background and outline of the image paper??? is there away around this???? Like maybe print it...and then cut it as close as I can to the picture? or maybe another way.

I would be more afraid the chocolate icing would make your image not clear since the edible image paper is thin. I would back it on a piece of white fondant and then apply to your chocolate icing. The paper does "melt" into the buttercream, but I think most people would pipe a border around the image (I've only done EI on cookies myself), but laying it on fondant and cutting off the extra around the picture would give you a nice clean look if you didn't want to pipe a border.

2 months...plenty of time to do a test run of your new printer. icon_smile.gif
