I don't would like to make my own gumpaste for practicing purposes. But I see all these different versions of making it. Now some call for egg whites and you must keep the gumpaste refrigerated. I would like to just be able to keep it in a tub like when you buy it from global sugar art.

I have tried different ones and they seem to dry really fast or it is not
pliable you have to work really hard to get it soft.

Also if anyone has a pliable gumpaste receipe please share.

Thank you

Try a half batch of Nick Lodge's recipe. Although it has to be refrigerated at first to cure, it can be out for several days with no problem. He has great instructions.
