Not that I haven't always thought you pros were amazingly skilled and made beautiful cakes, but yesterday I had my first big cake order (for my cousin, so nothing even approaching pro) and now know just how much work it takes.
It was a three tier cake, and though I knew it was a lot of work, I was still surprised. It took me all of sunday and most of monday, and while driving to where it was to be delivered I was a nervous wreck, as was my brother who was the chauffeur.

So I just wanted to give you all this

Thanks so much for your commentsicon_smile.gif Too bad the general public never gets a chance to make a tiered cake as you did, or they would at least tip better!
