Hi Everyone!

I have a rather dumb question.... but I have looked and looked online for a tutorial on how to make a gumpaste lion. I have tried all afternoon and mine either end up looking like a sick lion or a dog!! (LOL)

I want to put a lion on a BD cake and I need help!! PLEASE!

Thanks alot
Rhonda

Are you wanting to make a male lion with a mane? Does it have to be realistic looking? There are lion heads on the cupcakes in my photos that might help if the lion doesn't have to be realistic. The body just may look like a dog's body until you put the puff at the end of the tail. icon_smile.gif

I made one for my Oz cake it had more of a human face and probably not what you need. What you might take from it was that I used royal icing piped to make his mane... might be something you could do as well. HTH!
