Hi Everyone,
I just started making some italian buttercream and realized the recipe called for Limoncello liqour. I went to the liqour store, but it was 30 bucks. No way I can spring for that for icing.
Question is, how do I get a lemon flavor icing? I don't have time to make lemon curd either.
Should I add lemon extract? ( I was thinking this might not be "fresh"
Can I jsut add lemon juice? (I was thinking this might curdle the icing
Can I add zest (worried this would look bad colored or interfere with piping
HELP!!!!

also, you necessarily need any lemon flavoring to make it italian buttercream unless you want it lemony... but you probably already knew that icon_smile.gif
