One of my brides brought me the ribbon to put around her table cakes, but it's sheer. How can I keep it from soaking up the grease from my BC?? If it matters, I use IndyDebi's recipe...

I put a sheer on a cake, in my pictures it is hard to tell. The one with grapes and vines. It didn't soak up any grease, but I never have that problem. Let the frosting crust really well, overnite if possible then put ribbon on. That is how I do them.
