My daughter's birthday is coming up and I am out of ideas for a good cake recipe. THere will be 30 little angels at the party not including the adults. I need a recipe for a 3 tier cake and my daughter's own little cake. Any good ideas?

Well, MacsMom has an awesome idea for kids parties. She makes the WASC cake and then tints the batter the shades of the rainbow. That way the cake is colorful, yet delicious.

Heres a picture....

THanks so much! I greatly appreciate the ideas. I can find the instructions in the recipes, right?

How does she keep the different colors from blending together? Does she use a seperatorput in mx then remove it?

Nope, its just like doing a marble cake. You would put in the red batter first and smooth it out. Then add the orange right on top and smooth. Next pan would be yellow and green, and last the blue and purple.
