Air Brushing ?

Would someone please explain to me what air brushing is ? I know it takes practice to make icing smooth, and I am doing that icon_smile.gif, just wondering if air brushing smooths 'blemishes' out of your buttercream icing the same way it "air brushes flaws from model's face for instance icon_confused.gif ?

It is spraying food color (painting) onto cake via an airbrush. Just like airbrushing a T-shirt, only on a cake with special food color. It's cool.

airbrushing the surface of a cake shows up all the blemishes ten fold!!

yep... if it isn't completely smooth, every little imperfection will show up.
