Icing On The Cake

I need help making the icing smooth on the cake. The ironing technique doen't seem to work for me. Please give me some simple ideas. Thanks in advance

Check out Sugar Ed Productions on youtube. I've watched the full video that you can buy on their site and it completely changed the way I was doing my icing.

The consistency of the icing is very important. The above mentioned video is excellent icon_smile.gif
