The groom-to-be wants his groom's cake to look like a whitetail deer butt with the tail up in the air. He says he's seen a picture of one on the internet. I have looked and looked for one for several days and have yet to find it.

#1 - Has anyone seen one?
#2 - How would you make the tail?
#3 - How would you support the tail into the cake?

Hmmmmmm - not many images of deer butts at all, even though that is why they are called "whitetail" deer icon_lol.gif Google whitetail deer image - you'll get hundreds, but most are focused on the head. The tails are flat and broad and almost completely white on the underside - they signal each other with that "white flag" that is easily seen in the woods. Check out the very last image here

I'd probably try modeling chocolate or gumpaste formed on bamboo skewers to anchor it in the cake. Good luck!

Has anyone made a tail of any kind?

I'm not sure how to make it.
