I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry for not getting back for so long! I decided, because my computer was incredibly slow uploading the pics, that I'd better focus on completing the cake. I get down here(we're in Savannah now) and I wasn't able to connect to the internet. DH took care of that situation while my mother and I took the cake to the restaurant (wanted to do it before the rain began falling).

Here's the latest...and I again want to thank each of you for tuning in...

She hasn't seen it yet. My sister won't see it until later today. I think it turned out well and know it could've been better had I been able to do the doodads earlier in the week and focus on the cake portion of it.

You did a great job. Did you stay up all night? I am sure she loved it. Next time, you need to plan well in advance so you will not be up most of the night. But I know that last minute "I think I'll make a cake" lol. icon_wink.gif

The trip was last minute too...yeah, had I known LAST WEEK(as I glare at DH and my mother) that we'd be heading this way...

Bellatheball, I cheated on the tile work. I used a stencil and airbrushed it.
