I am making my first wedding cake and I need some help.

It is five tier with a rose tree. I have roses and leaves on wires and brown tape - what should I put in that "wooden" part to make it thicker and look like tree? It must be flexible and light.
I have a picture but can not attach iticon_sad.gif
I also have tiny gumpaste butterflies which I made with patchwork cutter and I would like to know how to attach them on wire.

Thank you for your help!!

I made something similar and used fondant. It was very easy to maneuver and attach with RI. The flowers covered any breaks that occured. Its in my pics (my tree part wasnt as thick as your pic). Id get a piece of fondant and try it and see how it looks.

I made a cake with a branch, I used wire covered in fondant. I have also seen alot of cake decorators use modeling chocolate and just apply it directly to the cake.
