I always find cakes for my clients that I have no clue how to start! lol. So, one of my clients wants this cake for her daughter's birthday this Sunday. My question is how do I do it? It looks like a 9" round, but how about the top & the diamonds on the sides?? Please help!! I need to start this cake soon.

It looks like a round cake then the diamonds on the sides look like diamond shaped fondant hardened so they'd stand up and looks like they used an impression mat before hardening to get the texture on the diamonds. HTH
