I am making a grooms cake to look like a poker table for May 3rd. I did a trial run last weekend and was happy with it, but...I bought molds for the playing cards and used gumpaste.(pressed the g/p into mold, left to dry in mold) Didn't work out so well. So I've decided to try Merkens super-white chocolate. Has anyone tried to use the food writer markers on white chocolate before? Did it turn out well? OR could I just press the gumpaste into the mold then pull them out to dry?

I'd like to know, I have a cake in september...some time later, and they want a gambling cake...slot machine with cards...so I'd like to know. I found a cake that had coins coming out of it up in the air...and Im gonna go with something like that.

But I need ideas for the cards. why didnt the cards work in the mold? did you press down really hard? where did you get the molds....
