My student teacher is leaving next week. I want to make a cake for her but she's not a cake person ( I know I know!!) SHe's a brownie person. Anyone have a recipe for a brownie that I can make in a 6 in pan ... put some mouse in the middle and another layer on top? Can i just make normal fudgy brownies then crumb coat the outside. I want to make it look like the cake below with vanilla on the bottom for the kids.

I totally think that could work. Just make sure you use dowel rods to hold up that top tier of brownies since I imagine it would be a heavy cake. Sounds delicious.

You might be better off to put the brownies on the bottom and the cake on top. The brownies will be a lot heavier than the cake.

I agree with poohsmomma. Brownie on the bottom. Should be an adorable cake!
