We Did Over 100 Cakes Today....

And boy is my piping hand numb! My day started at 5 a.m.

First I had two bikini cakes to prep for the boss to finish. One was chocolate and one was topless....have to smooth the icing very carefully for that one!

Then is was one cake after the other. I didn't do them all by myself but I did my fair share, AND all the wildflower, pansie, daffodil and mum cakes. I posted a few pics from today.

Finally got to clock out around 3:30 p.m.

I'm gonna go snuggle on the couch, put my sore feets up and hope my hand doesn't start tingling and hurting!

Wow! Thats alot of cake! I took a look at your cakes and I love your flowers. How did you make the yellow flowers on the birthday cake? They are beautiful! Great job thumbs_up.gif

Those are some really pretty cakes. I love the mums you have for the granny bday cake. I think all the bc flowers look beautiful! Hope you feel better rested now! icon_smile.gif

Did I mention the baker had to make icing three times yesterday and I used over three 5 gallon buckets of buttercream for decorating alone?

Some days I just want to dive head first into a bucket and eat my way out of it...

If we had 200 I'd still be at work decorating! AND my hand would fall off.

Just saw your pictures...I seldom get blown away but I LOVE your work!!!! Maybe more so because your flower cakes are similar to my colorful cakes-I am so so impressed. Well done!
