does it take to fill a 14" pan? I have never made a cake this size and just received an order for Saturday. I use box cake mixes and dr. them.
TIA

I use a doctored mix too, and I use three boxes for the 14" pan. I fill my pans really full.

I'm not sure if this helps, but here's the table that I refer to- it has been pretty helpful for me.

I actually just made my first 14in round last night. I used about 3 1/2 plain mixes for mine and it was a 3" deep pan.
